2 nd Day – 18 th August 2017 (Friday) Location: Kota Kinabalu It’s island hopping day! From 5 am, I was already awake and about preparing for our island day in the sun. After Subuh prayer, we ladies were busy packing our necessities; towels, sunscreens, sunglasses, hats, dry clothes, etc. S arrived at 7.30 am at the hotel and took us to Jesselton Point for Kota Kinabalu Island hopping tour. P/S: We didn’t use our Grab or Uber apps on the second day because S graciously used his car to bring us around. Kota Kinabalu City is near to the sea, and surrounded by many small, beautiful islands and one of the many attractions of Kota Kinabalu . These islands are a part of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and it takes 15-20 minutes boat ride to reach the islands. Some of the islands in the Marine Park is; Manukan Island, Sapi Island, Mamutik Island, Sulug Island , and Gaya Island . Sabah Weekend Getaway 2017 - Day 4: Kundasang & Kota Kinabalu

4th day - 20th August 2017 Location: Kundasang & Kota Kinabalu Early morning, before the sun rises, we were already up and about packing to go back, and to watch the sunrise. kundasang sunrise After checked out at 8.00 am, we continued our journey to the Kinabalu Park , not far from our accommodation. You can easily see the signboard of the park on the way up to Kundasang . (In our case, going down). Is there anyone reading this is very fond of travelling? And no matter what, you will always find a way to mark your spot in the map? That's how I got roped into a Sabah trip in which I only know two people from my workplace and four strangers-turn-friends because that's how travelling works, ladies and gentlemen. You make friends along the way. This post will be a post on my adventure to Sabah, Malaysia. Be warned, this is not a luxury trip. We try to be as stingy as possible as well as making sure we have fun and be frivolous.
